Denali Borough Assembly to meet January 14, 2004
The Denali Borough Assembly will meet Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the McKinley Village Community Center. The Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m., borough work session is at 6:30 p.m. and the regular meeting is at 7 p.m. Please attend if you are in the area! Mid Nenana River F & G Advisory Committee to meet on Friday Jan. 30

The Mid Nenana River Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet January 30 in Healy at the Tri Valley Community Center to discuss the Board of Game proposal book recently published. To read these proposals, log on to http://www.boards.adfg.state.ak.us/gameinfo/meetinfo/gprop.php

If you are interested in any of these proposals, the committee will be reviewing their comment strategies at the meeting. It is likely that the recently proposed no trapping zone in the McKinley Village view area will be discussed at the Healy meeting. For more information on proposals affecting the Denali area, stay tuned to the DCC Website.

The written comments on these proposals are due February 13, 2004 and the State Board of Game meetings will consider them at their Fairbanks meeting, February 26 - Mar. 10. The address for comments is:

ATA Jeep Tour Comments Due January 30

Comments are due to DNR in Fairbanks
Comments on Alaska Travel Adventures permit asking for permission to run Jeep tours to mile 11 of Stampede Road are due Jan. 30. The permit asks for the ability to park the Jeeps at mile 11 of Stampede Road and have a turnaround spot as well as a campfire ring and 2 temporary wall tents to be set up for the summer. All questions about the permit should be directed to hal_meyer@dnr.state.ak.us
