Sue graduated with a BS in Journalism/Advertising from Iowa State University. She has had a variety of professional experiences, including naturalist, driver, sous chef, farm equipment operator, maintenance worker and nonprofit administration, running conferences and events, selling advertising design and record keeping. Sue has been in the Denali area since 1991, working seasonally and often spending the winter. Her diverse friendships and work experiences in the Denali area and her strong attention to detail have made her an effective employee for DCC. Sue just returned from winter employment in Antarctica, and replaces Cathy Lieser, our Winter Community Organizer.
